Job Role:

-Interpret brief from Media Marketing and client to understand the brand positioning, key Marketing Challenge, Brand/Initiative Objective and resources available (duration of activity, budgets available, other supports available etc)

-Research (primary as well as secondary) to understand buyer behavior and varying industry perspectives / success models

-Drive ideation across all relevant businesses (print, online, mobile, radio, events etc.) through brainstorming sessions, along with Commercial

-Create complete marketing solution proposal for the brand including rollout plan, budgets, logistics etc, and secure approval basis suggested changes, if any

-Execute agreed plan through key stakeholders in all relevant vehicles

Capabilities/Inter-linkages:

-This role needs a balance of very strong marketing creativity and commercial acumen.

-It will be required to understand the challenges facing a brand and recommend effective solutions for the same within the resources indicated (and to maximize revenues for the company).

It will require working closely with:
-The Client team (typically senior level Marketing and Media teams)
Client Servicing Team, who will own the execution of the proposed solutions

-Marketing and content teams of all businesses to propose solutions that are within the brand and Editorial guidelines of each product

-Sales Team to maintain a steady pipeline of advertisers / brands, requiring a multi-media solution
-It will also require interactions with the Events team to understand the logistical and technical constraints of proposed solutions.


Job requirements:

-Approx 1-3 years of outstanding Experience in the content space(publisher or agency) primarily in a Brand Marketing profile.

-Ideally a couple of years of Agency Planning or Consulting experience
